For the past 10 years I’ve been involved in communications on a variety of levels. I’ve directed organizations, delivered messages in front of hundreds of people, and, most recently, worked as an intelligence analyst for the US Air Force. I consider myself a life-long learner, and, of course, the most exciting thing about discovering something new is sharing it with others. It’s the ‘sharing’ bit that I find very fulfilling. The goal of this website is to share some of the ideas I find personally compelling–if it inspires me I think there’s a good chance it will inspire you!
A little bit about me: I grew up in west Michigan, eventually moving in 2006 to northeast Pennsylvania to attend undergraduate school. There I studied theology and philosophy, ultimately earning a B.S. in General Studies. Later, having joined the US Air Force in 2012, I attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, graduating with an Associates of Arts in Mandarin Chinese Studies. I’m married to a graphic designer & illustrator, Sarah McNany, with whom I have two very energetic little girls. We all enjoy spending time outside, whether that means camping, snowboarding, hiking, or cycling. Personally, I spend a lot of time training and racing on my road bikes with Dahlicious Racing team in Albuquerque, NM–I am a huge fan of the sport!
